..tv program was on last night. We don't watch it very often. It depends on who or what is on. Well, last night they were broadcasting from Angola State Prison here in Louisiana. What a blessing to see and hear what is going on there!! The warden is a marvelous Christian man. He has been there for eleven years and there is NO violence in this prison. He has been such a witness that they had 88 prisoners to graduate from a Bible collage to become ministers. They do mission work in other prisons. The whole two hours were very, very interesting. I wish I could see it again to get another blessing from them. One of the inmates has been asked by Jim Cymbala to come to NY and teach in that church. This inmate needs a pardon in order to follow God's leading in this direction. The most of these guys have truely converted and given their hearts to the Lord! The testimonies were awesome. If you didn't see it, you need to try to get a copy of the program. I don't know how or where that you could. Jack and I stayed up until it was over and didn't realize that it was 11:00 pm!! He didn't have to be at work, but I did.
Hope you all have a great day.

What network/show was this on? It sounds interesting to me
There is a man in Sedalia who has been working with the prisoners at the county jail for 2 or 3 years now. Holding Bible studies and helping inmates get their GEDs if they need them. He reports that several inmates have been saved. A local business donated a stock tank and another one welded a drain on it so it could be used to hold baptisms for the prisoners who want to be baptized. Several churches and individuals are taking turns supplying cookies for the prisoners. Ours is one of them.
