It has been a verrry long week.! But an enjoyable one. I did learn a new route for the post office in Robeline. That makes 3 routes that I know. I am now able to sub on all three. Whew! There is one more route to learn. I've been on it a couple of times but not driven it myself. It makes it easier when you drive it than riding in anothers' vehicle.
Lyndsy is starting a job today babysitting. She is still waiting for the results of her MCAT before she is able to enroll in med school. This is a job to fill in the time until further notice. The mother was Lyndsy's assistant during VBS. Lyndsy had the 3-5 years olds to teach. Gracie is 3 and her mother is a teacher's aide at the Many Elementary School in Many. Lyndsy is looking forward to watching Gracie for the next few weeks.
For those of you who do not know, Lyndsy graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA last May. She majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry and Microbiology. She ended with a 3.712 gpa, Magna Cum Laude. Yes, we are proud of our 'little girl'!!
Jack is still working at Big Star Toledo cutting meat. It is engraved in his blood to cut meat.! LOL
He drives approx. 45 min. one way to work as this store in close to the lake. (Toledo Bend Lake)
Hope you all have a great day!! We will!

Hi Mary,
Just found your blog and enjoyed reading your news. We share your pride in Lyndsy. It was great to have her in Sunday school this morning. I know Katie was really glad too!
Glad to see you post again! I know how busy life can be, sometimes. It was good to hear about your job and Jack's; and to know what Lyndsy is doing. I hope she hears soon about Med school. When does the year start for that?
Thank you, Jackie. I know Lyndsy was also glad to be in your class. How is school going? A new school and students can be trying for a little while. I pray that it went smoothly instead.
Hey Aunt Judy,
She has heard from the mcat but she didn't like the results. Med school starts approx. the same time as other classes. Especially for the 'freshmen'. She seems to be enjoying babysitting at the present time. The little girls she sits with is as cute as a button. We see the family every Sunday and the children almost every time the church doors are open. They live right behind the church.
